Eyeliner Stickers

I have been looking around for the crystals eyelashes. I bought some, but I bought more that eyelashes this time round. I was so attracted by the eye liner stickers, and I can't wait to use one for this weekend party! They look really easy to use. Especially if you're not very good at drawing with the liquid liner. I guess this is good for traveling as well!

The one I bought looks like the top right one. I have to admit that my drawing for cat-eye are always not so perfect. Sometimes I spend more than 20 min just on the eye-liner. The tail length is quite tricky for me to make them look the same length. So I am going to be lazy this weekend and let the stickers do the magical touch. :)

Some are very colourful and fancy. Quite expensive though...so I didn't buy them. Maybe next time when I have an occasion! hehehe

Crystal Eyelashes

Have been super busy helping my friend for her wedding!
From hairstylist, make-up artist, nail art arrangements,
to the gowns, accessories and even stocking, every single detail has to be well taken care of,
just to ensure that the bride can walk down the aisle in the most gorgeous way.
The whole process was beautiful, and this time round, I found something to make me more happy -
Crystal Eyelashes.

I seldom wear fake eyelashes. And I find them rather uncomfortable. I have to be gentle all the time, and even blinking I have to make sure I blink gently softly and sweetly. But this time round, when the make up artist helped me with the crystal eyelashes, I felt amazing, and I feel like a real princess. :)

I was amazed by the result. My eyes look amazing, with the extra sparks, though I wasn't the bride, I was dancing like a princess under the light. Make-up artist told me that if you want to show off your crystals, put the emphasis on your eye makeup, and the rest just make it sweet n simple. She put on a very pale lip colour for me, and a puff of blusher, poof poof and I became a princess.

I am going to keep one or two pairs with me.
Who knows, one day, when I meet my prince, I can be a real princess. ;)

Make-up for Summer! - Color Pop!

After Summer Bikini party, let me share some Summer-time Juicy make-up with you girls! In Korea, one of my favourite cosmetic brands Etude House has launched their pre-summer Make Up collection! Etude House has been all the while positioning in the 'Sweet Princess' dolly kind of products. Their packaging has never failed to capture attention, and this time round their Pre-Summer collection has do a big hit again! Look at the juicy colours and I would love to try them out!

Nail colours are bright and cheerful! Don't worry about wearing too many colours on you, it's Summer afterall!

I'd really love to try the above 2 colours of eyeliners and lipsticks. I used to resist trying on the orange base lipstick but looking at the Etude House poster, I can't help falling in love. That's definitely going to be the next item I'll get for my cosmetic collection!

If you girls are aware, coloured eyeliner or the shiny eyeliners are not a new products or concept in the market. Other Korean brands such as Holika Holika and Laneige also have their colour eyeliners. I have not tried the Holika Holika ones, and the previous trip to Seoul last month I couldn't get the Laneige one in the airport. Will share with you girls more if I can get one!

Western brands such as Maybelline, L'oreal and MAC also have quite a wide variety of colours for you to choose from.

But again, I have to admit that the Etude House new Color Pop did attract me to really try them soon!

Be funky, Be colourful, Be bold, motto for the gorgeous females!

<3 Hope you girls like them too!

Juicy Lips - The Gradient

Ever wonder how they have such a juicy pout? :)

Lip gloss is one of the key to make your lips look smooth and juicy. But for the 'pout' effect, the Koreans are good in combining the colours and make their lips more interestingly juicy. The usual way of doing it is to mix at least 2 colours of lip gloss, with the darker shades applied in the inner part of the lips, and smooth evenly with a shiny clear or light pink lip gloss. This is what they called it a gradient lip! Some of the more bold look is to use the darker shades at the outer lips, but I personally prefer find that a little bit too 'bold'.

I bought a 'lip tint' from a Korean Cosmetic shop some time ago and I was wondering how that works - until I learnt online it actually creates a nice gradient lips easily. You can use 2 different shades of lip glosses to create that effect as well, but my personal experience is the using the lip tint can last me much longer for the day. Try it out! <3

** Try that out! It gives you a naturally pout look - simple and sweet! ;)

Make it Perfect

Although all in Asia, ladies from different countries exhibit very different character and lifestyle. Just looking at what food they consume, it's not difficult to notice how differently they lead their lives. The Japanese Sushi, the Korean Kimchi, the Chinese Dumplings, and the list continues. Looking at how they dress up themselves, despite similarity in some fashion trend, each influencing each other, the basic and the focus are normally vastly different.

I used to have roommates coming from all different Asian countries. The Koreans think that it's a respect for themselves to put on make-up and dress up nicely every time they leave their home. Same to the Taiwanese. I had this very sweet Taiwanese roommate, she has to put on eyeliner and a few layers of fake eyelashes, even just going downstairs to buy her groceries. Some people might think that they are over-doing it. But who is these people to judge? If putting on make up, appropriately, can make someone confident and happy, what is the big deal?

To me, I think, and I believe, confidence come from inner self. But, that alone is not enough. Take a bit of time everyday before you leave home, a nice dress, some make-up, and nice hair - nothing expensive nothing fancy, but the glow in you will shine your day.

Here's a video I'd like to share, it shows that there's never ugly ladies in this world, but only the lazy ones! Ladies, let's stand up and shine together! :)

P.S: Practice make perfect. I used to spend at least 30-minute in front of the mirror just to put on simple eye make-up. But now, 10 minutes and I am ready to go! Remember, put on a smile as well! <3

Wonders of Eyeliner - Part 1

Lucky me! I used to have a Korean housemate and I learnt useful makeup tips from her. She told me that there are a few items that you will never want to leave your house without - BB Cream, eyeliner, mascara and their lip-gloss. Looking at her putting her makeup every morning, I realised that she spends most of the time drawing the super cool eyeliner. And if you girls look at all the K-pop posters, it’s not difficult to notice that their sparkly eyes are very different from the westerners, and the Korean girls shine in their own fabulous way!

The little bottle of liquid eyeliner did wonderful jobs for her. No matter how sleepy and puffy her eyes are, within 5 minutes, the liquid eyeliner never fails to make her look like a goddess. The difference between the gel liquid eyeliner is that it is thin, and it gives you a very well defined line, which bring out the sparks and spirits in you. Unlike the pencils, the gel liner leaves a shiny and defined effect, very easy to use, and bling bling here you go!

Tips #1: Different ways of drawings (they called it different ‘tails’) can give a complete different look, and once you master the skill, you’ll start to love your eyes, for sure. I went through lots of practices, so girls, don’t be lazy, don’t get frustrated, it’s all SUPER worth it once you master this amazing drawing skill!
Tips #2: Pair it with different eye shadow and you can create all the different looks from sweet to sexy! Girls, remember to finish your eye make-up with a mascara and shine with confidence!

Practice makes perfect, practice makes you wonderful! Girls, stay pretty and have fun!

More to share soon! <3
